FEMALE ALLSTAR BOARD
Mit der Initiative Female Allstar Board schaffen das Handelsblatt und Bain & Company eine einzigartige Bühne für Frauen in Führungspositionen. Die Bereicherung von Unternehmen durch Frauen ist wissenschaftlich nachgewiesen, bislang jedoch immer noch kein gelebter Standard in vielen Unternehmen. Mit dem Female Allstar Board setzen wir nicht nur ein Statement in der Wirtschaft, sondern insbesondere auch für junge engagierte Frauen: Den Führungskräften von morgen. Im vergangenen Jahr ehrten wir die ersten Fab Five in den Kategorien CEO, CHRO, CFO, CTO und CSO.

Dr. Paul Achleitner
Since May 2012, Paul Achleitner (born 1956 in Linz, Austria) serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank AG.
He was educated at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and Harvard Business School (HBS), holds a PhD from HSG and an honorary professorship from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. After four years at Bain & Co. in Boston he joined Goldman Sachs in 1988 where he worked in New York, London and Frankfurt in various capacities, since 1994 as a partner of the firm. Between 2000 and 2012 Paul Achleitner was CFO of Allianz in Munich.
Besides chairing the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank Paul Achleitner is a member of the Supervisory Board of Bayer as well as of the Shareholders’ Committee of Henkel. He is Chairman of the Alfred Herrhausen Society Board of Trustees, the Board of Trustees of the HSG Foundation (University of St. Gallen), as well as Co-Chairman of the Hong Kong / Europe Business Council. Dr. Christine Bortenlänger
Dr. Christine Bortenlänger has been Executive Director of Deutsches Aktieninstitut since September 2012. Prior to that, she was a member of the Executive Board of Bayerische Börse AG and Managing Director of the Munich Stock Exchange, which is subject to public law, from 2000.
Bortenlänger is a member of the supervisory boards of Covestro, MTU Aero Engines, Siemens Energy and TÜV Süd, and a member of the Exchange Council of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Her honorary activities include serving on the Board of Directors of the ifo Institute, on the Advisory Board of the Schmalenbach Society, on the German Committee for UNICEF and as a member of the Executive Board of the Bavarian Economic Advisory Council.

Prof. Dr. Gesche Joost
Gesche Joost, professor of design research at the University of the Arts, works at the intersections of academia, politics, and digital companies. Her work is about digital transformation in society and business. At the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, she is designing new forms of human-technology interaction for this purpose. She is a member of the supervisory boards of SAP, ING Deutschland and ottobock and in 2016 co-founded the non-profit startup Calliope gGmbH, which opens up digital education to children from elementary school onwards.

Kirsten Ludowig
The economics graduate and graduate of the German School of Journalism joined Handelsblatt in 2008 and covered the retail and consumer industries for several years as a reporter and specialist editor. As desk chief and deputy head of the "Corporate" department, she was responsible for the integration of the editorial teams of Handelsblatt Online and Print within the department and in the newsroom, which was launched in 2015. As head of press at Metro AG, Ludowig provided communications support for complex transactions such as the Real sale and the China sale, as well as an unsolicited voluntary takeover bid, among others, from November 2018 to February 2020. In March 2020, she returned to Handelsblatt as head of the "Unternehmen" department. Since March 2021, the 40-year-old has been deputy editor-in-chief of

Simone Menne
Simone Menne started her career at ITT and then moved to Deutsche Lufthansa. After holding various positions in Germany and abroad, including CFO at BMI, she was appointed CFO of LH Group in 2012. From 2016 to 2017, she served as CFO at Boehringer Ingelheim. In both companies, she was responsible for establishing the Digital Lab. Ms. Menne is a supervisory board member at Henkel, Deutsche Post DHL, JCI and Russell Reynolds. She also runs an art gallery in Kiel and is president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany e.V.

Walter Sinn
Walter Sinn verantwortet als Managing Partner die Aktivitäten von Bain & Company in Deutschland und ist Mitglied im Global Board of Directors.
Seit 2014 leitet Sinn vom Standort Frankfurt aus die Geschäfte von Bain in Deutschland. Seitdem hat das Unternehmen nicht nur Umsatz und Mitarbeiterzahl in der Region nahezu verdoppelt, sondern auch in den wichtigen Branchen Banken, Versicherungen, Automobilindustrie sowie Maschinen- und Anlagenbau überdurchschnittlich zugelegt.
Unter seiner Leitung hat Bain 2018 sein viertes deutsches Büro eröffnet. Der neue Standort in Berlin ist zudem einer von weltweit zehn Digital Discovery Hubs der Unternehmensberatung und die europäische Zentrale für das Advanced Digital and Product Team von Bain (ADAPT@Bain®).
Der ausgewiesene Bankenexperte verfügt über mehr als 25 Jahre Beratungserfahrung im Retail Banking, Private Wealth und Asset Management, Corporate-Banking und Kapitalmarktgeschäft.
Seine Kunden berät Walter Sinn in wichtigen strategischen Fragestellungen, wie z.B. Wachstumsstrategien, strategische Neuausrichtungen, Effizienzsteigerungs- und Transformationsprogramme, Reorganisation und Post-Merger-Integrationen.
Gemeinsam mit dem Manager Magazin hat Sinn 2015 den renommierten „Game Changer Award“ ins Leben gerufen. Den Preis erhalten Unternehmen in Deutschland, die ihre Geschäftsmodelle konsequent auf den disruptiven digitalen Wandel ausgerichtet haben und nicht nur sich selbst, sondern auch die Spielregeln in ihrer Branche verändern.
Vor seinem Einstieg bei Bain war Sinn als Senior Partner in einem anderen Top-Beratungshaus tätig.
Walter Sinn studierte Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Universität Mannheim und ESSEC in Paris.
